Biography

Nazario most recently produced the independent feature film, "Old Fashioned," written and directed by Rik Swartzwelder. Previously, he was Executive Producer on the award-winning short film, "Marbles with Thoreau" and also served as Producer on "The Tape Recorder," the first short film directed and written by Oscar Nominated writer 'Jose Rivera (III)' ('The Motorcycle Diaries'). In 2005, Nazario directed "The Answering Machine," a fantasy/drama starring Chris Caldovino("The Sopranos"). In 2000, he wrote, produced and directed "The White Rose," a short film starring Emmy-nominated actor, Dominic Chianese ("The Sopranos").

A film marketing professional with 20 years of experience in the film and television industry, Nazario's credits include the public relations campaigns for over 50 films including six Academy-Award winners: "Life is Beautiful," "Shakespeare in Love," "When We Were Kings," "Dead Man Walking," "The Usual Suspects," and "Fargo." As the former Vice President, Film Publicity at mPRm Public Relations, his clients have included major studios, television networks and independent companies such as Miramax Films, Warner Bros., DreamWorks, USA Network, Syfy Channel, New Line Cinema, Fox Searchlight, Columbia TriStar, Artisan Entertainment, and IMAX among others. Nazario also served as the Vice President, East Coast Publicity at Gramercy Pictures, the independent art-house studio behind such successes as "Four Weddings and A Funeral."
