Carlos Mendoza was born Carlos Diego Sousa Mendoza to a Mexican father, Santiago Mendoza, and a Portuguese mother, Idalina Sousa. Carlos was raised in Richmond, California. He has been acting since his childhood, and graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelors in Theater Arts. He is an actor, director, theater educator and designer. He co-founded San Francisco's Blue House Arts theater company in 2015, and now lives in Los Angeles.
