Originally from Chicago, Kat earned her Film and Television Production degree at the Tisch School of the Arts in 2018. She has worked in New York and Los Angeles ever since on television shows such as Almost Family (Season 1), Dave (Season 2), Yellowstone (Season 4), and Obi-wan Kenobi the miniseries. As of 2024, she is a production executive at The Ranch Productions making both narrative and documentary features.
