Alexander Pickl - Director, writer and advertiser was born in Munich, Germany. Although his work led him all over the world - he chose to come back to his hometown in Bavaria and is still living and working there. After finishing school he studied Graphic Design and Film at the best Schools in Munich and in Chicago. This can be depicted as the starting point or "green light" for his long career in Film and Advertising. In the late 80's Alexander Pickl started his own companies in Munich, Bavaria. Living for Storytelling Alexander didn't just make international successful and controversial movies, he also succeeded in doing highly recognized (and also controversial) Ad's in TV, Print or OoH. Remarkable and still stand alone Art is his work for Diesel, Panerai, and several TV Stations in Germany and Europe. In the early 2000 Alexander Pickl retreated from advertising and put all his time in writing and directing as CEO for the Bel Air AG Production agency in cooperation with Oliver Jahr on the executive management board. In this time Films like "Showdebola" (Streets of Rio) or the Vale Tudor Project where born, in addition to noteworthy TV-Productions, Documentaries and Branded Entertainment like "Crowns Cup" - one of the first ever Branded Entertainment Shows - developed for and financed by Sony.
