The title pretty much says it all. Apparently director Eisuke Naito’s drama is based on a true story, though I’m hoping he took some serious artistic liberties with the material. Aren’t Japanese schoolgirls supposed to be cute and happy and stylishly battle enormous vampire gerbils in the middle of downtown Tokyo? Imagining a group of girls terrorizing their poor teacher until she miscarries is beyond disturbing. In other words, this one just moved to the top of my must-see list. I need professional help, right? I thought so, too. An official synopsis is on the way: Five school girls get very disturbed when they notice their teacher’s pregnancy.
