John Weathers(I)

Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana to John A Weathers Sr. (a Longshoreman) and Faye Ann Mullen (a housewife) in 1958. Attended St Agnes Parochial School, St John Prep, and East Jefferson HS. Spent 4 years in the U.S. Army (1975-1979). Moved to Austin, Texas area in 1993. Lives in Bastrop, Texas, a small town southeast of Austin. Owns an independent Mercedes Benz repair shop in Bastrop, Texas. Has never acted or taken any classes but was told by people in the business that he has natural talent. John never thought of acting until Shane Scott the director of The Legend of Ghostwolf asked him to play the Sarge. Has now completed acting classes at Alleywood Studios owned by C.K. McFarland. Will start shooting another feature film from Shane Scott in September 2005. Is divorced with 3 children 2 daughters and a son. Has raised his son (John III) as a single parent since his birth. He is now 22. John III has credits as a set decorator in The Legend of Ghostwolf. Finished shooting "The Magnificent Dead" where he played the part of John Harris the saloon owner. John also help with the film "Spring Eddy" and has a special thank you credit. When you first meet John he comes off as a gruff mean old guy, but once you get to know him you realize he is a warm and gentle man.
