crash is Christopher Richard, a vocalist, songwriter, and performer based in Los Angeles. Originally from Louisiana, crash moved to Los Angeles in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina where since he has created a notable catalog of music with several bandmates and collaborators - Mumford & Sons, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, The Deadly Syndrome, Dawes, Henry Wolfe, Cassorla, ... crash has performed on Conan, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Austin City Limits, and more. Continuing along his musical journey, crash debuted his soddened Louisiana sounds of Hardly Criminal in 2014 courtesy of Community Music, and soon after made his solo television debut performing "Motion Animal" on Late Show with David Letterman. You can also hear original songs of his in the films jackass 3D, jackass 3.5, jackass presents Bad Grandpa, and World's Greatest Dad with Robin Williams. crash has an additional sun bleached solo project called Big Waste and can be seen touring with Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.
