Graduated from Sarasota High School in Sarasota, Florida in 1997 and from the University of Central Florida in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio/Television.
Has work experience as a lifeguard and teleprompter.
Father was an Air Force officer and later a director of several YMCAs. Her mother Carole is a retired music teacher.
