Monica Young is a Los Angeles-based actress, singer, and songwriter. She was born in Germany and grew up mainly in Kansas. Raised by a single mother before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
Since moving to LA, Monica has appeared in numerous television shows, including Modern Family (2009), Community (2009), and Two and a Half Men (2003), as well as various films, commercials, and music projects. As a vocalist, she has sung backup vocals on projects including artists such as Céline Dion and John Legend.
Her songwriting achievements include the award-winning track "Enough," which was featured in the film Concerto for Abigail (2024). Another of her songs, "Just Be," written for the feature film Along Came Wanda (2021), earned multiple awards at film festivals worldwide.
During the pandemic, Monica reignited her passion for songwriting. In 2023, she began releasing original music she wrote, sang, and produced herself, marking a new chapter in her creative career. She continues to collaborate with other artists and has exciting new releases on the horizon.
