The internet had a collective “Wait, what?” moment when an NCIS star casually dropped a jaw-dropping detail about deflowering the voice actor behind Disney’s beloved Tangled heroine. The actor’s confession wasn’t just unexpected. It was uncomfortably graphic, with comparisons that belonged nowhere near a Disney princess narrative.

That ’70s Show proved itself to be way ahead of its years. For a ’70s show (not really made in the ’70s though), Fez was a revolutionary character. With an elusive background and an unclaimed heritage, the foreign caricaturish character provided an iconic twist to the stereotypical representation of immigrant culture in American media.

But he elevated his role beyond that of the typical Latino supporting character. He became the physical manifestation of every immigrant from all corners of the world.

Is Nick Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) going to have a new love interest in NCIS Season 22? It certainly sounds like that could be the case. Valderrama was on The Talk on Thursday (October 10) to promote the new season, and host Sheryl Underwood suggested that the reason his character is “so grouchy” is because he needs love in his life (and she even has ideas about that herself). “I will tell you that obviously you know somebody because it is happening this season,” Valderrama said in response. “I feel like he’s been through enough of a turmoil, and I think he’s learned a lot of hard lessons, and I think he’s ready to open up himself to something else.” Torres hasn’t had the best luck with love; just look at the fact that he and Bishop (Emily Wickersham) didn’t kiss until ...

Wilmer Valderrama has released an activewear and lifestyle brand with a philanthropic twist.
The 44-year-old actor recently announced the release of E.P.U., which stands for “E Pluribus Unum” or “Out of Many, One.” The active lifestyle brand has formed a direct partnership with the Uso, an organization that Valderrama has been involved with for nearly 20 years. A portion of its sales will go to aid in its mission of “strengthening the well-being of service members and their families,” according to a release.
Valderrama has been working on the project, which he noted he has 100 percent funded himself, for a couple of years. The NCIS actor said he had been searching for a way to help, as he put it, the people that he loves and respects so much by bringing funding to different programs such as pre-deployment and welcome home programs. Should his NCIS character die, Wilmer Valderrama wants to go out in a blaze of glory. The actor revealed his idea for NCIS Special Agent Nick Torres’ possible death while speaking at a recent Monte-Carlo Television Festival panel, according to People. “Like Denzel Washington in Training Day — just go out,” Valderrama said, referring to Washington’s corrupt cop, Det. Alonzo Harris, dying in a Russian mafia ambush in the 2001 film. “I think not being the bad guy, of course I’d like to die as a good guy,” Valderrama added. “But defending my family somehow, just in a storm of bullets. I just see a storm of bullets just washing over me, just dying heroically with violins in the background and the rain is pouring.” Mike Coppola/Getty Images Costar Brien Dietzen suggested “some white doves” for that death scene, but Valderrama thought that image seemed “a little too Nicolas Cage.

It included the mothership series’ Brian Dietzen and Wilmer Valderrama who also talked about the expansion of what posters up for the Festival are referring to as the ‘NCISverse’.

NCIS isn’t going anywhere. More than 450 episodes into its run, the CBS drama about naval criminal investigators hasn’t lost any steam – or the support of the network. The show, which had its 21st season premiere on Feb. 12, isn’t “slowing down anytime soon,” a CBS executive recently promised.

For any show to last 20 seasons is an impressive feat, especially in today’s competitive TV environment. But NCIS has managed to pull it off. The Jag spinoff, which premiered in September 2003 is now one of the longest-running scripted primetime shows in TV history.

Wilmer Valderrama’s big Hollywood breakthrough came on That ’70s Show, but with NCIS, Valderrama has now spent as much time on the CBS crime drama as he did on the flashback sitcom. Playing an NCIS Special Agent on the show has given Valderrama a much greater awareness of what the real-life NCIS agents go through; we’ve spoken to him many times over the course of his run on the show, and he said that his goal on NCIS is to honor the work of the real agents in the field. [Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for the NCIS Season 21 premiere “Algún Día.”] Is Nick Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) a murderer? Well, as NCIS shows us in the Season 21 premiere, he would be somewhat justified, given that the man who ends up dead, Maurice Riva (Al Sapienza), made his and his family’s lives a nightmare when they were growing up. But as the episode goes on, it becomes clear that he’s not the one responsible, though he’s protecting the person he thinks is his sister. After all, “someday” was what they’d said as kids … which is why he doesn’t even want her to be his lawyer. And so that’s why TV Insider had to bring in Wilmer Valderrama for our first weekly NCIS aftershow for the CBS drama, NCIS: Case Closed, with our Kate Hahn. “I had this crazy idea that we should send Torres to prison,” Valderrama reveals of the Season 20 finale.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for the NCIS Season 21 premiere “Algún Día.”] It looks like NCIS is giving us ample time to prepare for the tribute episode for the late David McCallum and his character, Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard, with the premiere ending with the set-up for it. After the episode focuses on Nick Torres’ (Wilmer Valderrama) situation and how the man he wanted to watch die after the hell he put himself and his family through when he was a kid ended up dead—TV Insider has an aftershow, NCIS: Case Closed, which delves into all of that (with Valderrama this week)—it ends with a call stopping the team just as they’re about to head out to a crime scene. “Woah, woah, woah, slow down,” Alden Parker (Gary Cole) tells Dr. Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen). Then, “Oh my god.” The rest of the team can only hear Parker’s side of the conversation. “What...

For a show to reach double-digit seasons is rare. For one to be going into its 21st is quite the achievement, one that NCIS reaches this year. And it sounds very unlikely that it will be its last. “I don’t see it slowing down anytime soon. It’s a fantastic cast with a fantastic writing staff that’s been there a really long time. They’re just as reenergized today as they were as when I started on the show in Season 8 [as current executive],” CBS‘ Entertainment President Amy Reisenbach told Deadline. “So, as long as they want to keep it going, we’re thrilled to be on the NCIS train. Gary [Cole] and Wilmer [Valderrama] and Sean [Murray] and Katrina [Law], all of them, they love doing the show. So we hope to continue on for quite a while.” At one point, it would’ve been impossible to imagine ...

Wilmer Valderrama had an early start to the week. The NCIS star was up hours before dawn to help announce this year’s Golden Globe nominees alongside president Helen Hoehne and fellow CBS star Cedric the Entertainer. Moments after all the names were announced, Valderrama chatted with The Hollywood Reporter about the difficulty of his duties at the podium, getting back to work after the strike and whether or not he’ll be at the big show on Jan. 7.

The Golden Globes have found a new home. The 81st annual Golden Globe Awards will air on CBS in January (with a streaming option available on Paramount+ for cord-cutters), following years as a staple of NBC’s January programming lineup.
“We’re so proud to bring the Golden Globes to CBS to celebrate 81 years of award show history,” said Jay Penske, CEO, Chairman and Founder, Penske Media and owner of Dick Clark Productions. “CBS has demonstrated an impressive 30-year commitment to the Grammys and been instrumental to their long-term success. In CBS we found an ideal partner who understands the value of live entertainment programming and whose multi-platform distribution model is reflective of how global audiences choose to consume content today.” (Penske Media also owns Gold Derby.)

Demi Lovato can keep a secret …especially when it comes to the inspiration behind her song, “Cool For the Summer”.
During a recent interview with “The Howard Stern Show”, the 31-year-old singer opened up about her 2015 hit single, which sent the world buzzing with lyrics about kissing a woman.
The lyrics are up for interpretation, and Lovato won’t be sharing who exactly she’s singing about. However, she did give a hint.
When asked by Stern if it’s about a woman named “Susan,” Lovato laughed, and admitted, “No, it’s not Susan. Sometimes I write songs and just let them be.”
When pressed about if the song is about someone famous, Lovato revealed, “What if it is? Yeah.”
After Stern further prompted her to reveal who “Cool For the Summer” is about, Lovato said that it wouldn’t be right to share, as she herself is currently in a relationship.

Blue Beetle flew into theaters on Friday as the first Latino DC superhero. But the day that should have been a celebration was instead bittersweet for Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer, the credited writer of the Warner Bros. release.
Rather than taking in the milestone moment, Dunnet-Alcocer struggled with bittersweet feelings as he found himself on the picket line, waving his sign, outside the very studio that made his movie. At one point he found himself under a massive billboard emblazoned with the faces and logo of Beetle.
