As first reported by Tokyograph last month, Matsumoto plays Sakura, a club manager and the wife of a yakuza boss. When her husband is arrested, she agrees to go undercover in the criminal underworld to investigate an unsolved crime. In exchange for her assistance, she’s promised a reduced sentence for her husband.
“Gokutsuma Deka” will be released at Ikebukuro Cinema Rosa on October 30, 2010.
