Healy Lange

Actor, writer, and producer Healy Lange has crafted a career rich with compelling experiences. She began performing on New York stages with Playwrights Horizons, The Duplex, Impact Theatre, and the New York Comedy Club, where she earned acclaim for an autobiographical one-woman show that led her to Los Angeles. There, she studied screenwriting under the tutelage of the iconic Syd Field.

Lange has made notable appearances in series such as Star Trek: Voyager, Masters of Sex, and Stranger Things, as well as feature films including The Electric State and 115 Grains. Her directorial debut, Orphan Doll, won over 50 awards and is being developed into a Broadway play. Recently, she penned the TV series Letters to Addy, a quarter-finalist in the Big Apple Film Festival Screenplay Competition. The proof-of-concept pilot filmed in 2022 is now represented by People Store.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Lange's life is equally extraordinary. She has served as a Congressional Page and worked as a true crime psychic. She interviewed Dakota Fanning and once nearly fainted upon meeting Barbra Streisand in the furniture department of Bloomingdale's. In a quirky twist, Whoopi Goldberg once held her photo in the back of a limo, possibly with disdain. Lange also had the privilege of being serenaded by the late Paul Sorvino. All of her scripts include shades of her quirky and often strange life, and she has begun sharing her writing journey and offering advice to other creatives on her YouTube channel @thecharlesriverfilms.

Noteworthy trivia: Lange, whose birth surname is Rattigan, is the great-niece of the legendary playwright and screenwriter, Sir Terrence Rattigan, and the great-granddaughter of the esteemed and first Italian-American Senator from Massachusetts, Joseph Langone.
