Los Angeles, June 24: Singer Bert McCracken's band, The Used, has reportedly been banned from performing in Canada.
They were denied entry in the country earlier this month, reports contactmusic.com.
"They won't let me in. They said not for 10 years. It's weird, they're like, 'You need to rehabilitate these crimes before you come back to Canada.' I'm like, 'What does that mean?'" the 30-year-old told the Rolling stones.

We recently told you that the first single from The Twilight Saga: New Moon soundtrack was going to be Meet Me on the Equinox performed by Death Cab For Cutie. It was released on Sunday 13th along with the newest New Moon trailer, and we love it! And now we’ve found more of the artists to be included on this highly anticipated soundtrack. Twilight has a very heavy soundtrack from artists like Paramore and Linkin Park and while New Moon keeps its rock roots it has a much more emotional, indie feel. Alexandra Patsavas said: “there is a lot of love lost, so the artists that are going to make up the soundtrack reflect that longing – a lot of acoustic instruments, a lot of a cappella singing. This soundtrack definitely feels a bit more indie than the last one.”

The New Moon soundtrack is only weeks away and we already know that Muse is on the record along with Radiohead, Band of Skulls and possibly The Used. However, there is one artist that did not make the cut. In an email, Lee Safar said, "Summit have advised my team that while they are more than impressed with the songs and with my fan base, the music that was submitted did not fit the overall tone of the soundtrack and won't be used for 'New Moon.'" Okay, so, how scary does Edward look in this picture? This screen shoot was taken from the new trailer and it send chills down my spine. To help you get over the mid-week hump we have jammed jacked together as much Twilight news, interviews, pictures, and information as we could gather. Today we are debunking wedding rumors, Eclipse set updates, Pattinson being compared to a boiling frog,...

The Used’s 2007 album, Lies For The Liars, was a relative flop for the previously platinum-selling emo band, which puts pressure on its follow-up, Artwork. Will the disc be a comeback, or will it show The Used to be a flash in the pan, destined for internment in I Love The ’00s reruns? Sadly, it’s looking like the latter. Peeling off much of the outfit’s Utah-bred oddness and emotive chaos, the album is a clear ploy at breaking through to a more pop-inclined audience. But frontman Bert McCracken and crew have forgotten the first rule of crafting ...
