- Actress Kristine DeBell is Shayda's great-aunt. Shayda also is the cousin of actor Jack Dillon, cousin of actress Lisa Ross, cousin of actor and MMA Pro Fighter Damien "The Omen" Trites, cousin of makeup artist Carolina Dalí, and the cousin of model Preston Trites.
- Shayda was chosen to be a class graduation speaker for the 2017 NHS graduating class. Shayda, being a senior at the high school at the time, submitted a formative story to their open submissions and was blindly chosen to be the class speaker. Shayda spoke in front of hundreds of people at graduation, and the speech was shown on TV.
- Shayda's first call back was when they were 9 years old for the TV show Fetch.
