Galantis’ Christian Karlsson didn’t know that the “different wiring” in his brain had a name growing up. It wasn’t until he was an adult that he was diagnosed with Adhd and he finally was able to bring “clarity to the chaos.”

“My brain has the motor of a Ferrari and the brakes of a bicycle,” he tells Rolling Stone. “And the only way I had been able to sustain was by keeping it activated non-stop with music.”

Galantis, David Guetta, and Little Mix have teamed up for a new song, “Heartbreak Anthem.” The accompanying video features the UK group starring in a theater production.

The Samuel Douek-directed video opens as an orchestra warms up before showtime. The stage production is called Winged Fatales, which features “angelic beings fallen from another world.” Little Mix — Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards, and Jade Thirlwall (Jesy Nelson departed the group last December) — appear in winged costumes. Despite the song’s title, the track is about moving on amicably when a relationship doesn’t work out.

If there’s one group in Edm whose name is synonymous with “happy music” it’s Galantis. The Swedish duo, made up of Christian Karlsson from Miike Snow, and Linus Eklöw aka Style of Eye, burst onto the scene seemingly out of nowhere in 2014 with massive singles like “Runaway (U&I),” “You” and “Smile.”

A self-titled Ep which followed soon after, along with performances at some of the world’s biggest festivals, put Galantis on the fast track to the A-list. And if 2014 was their breakout year, then 2015 was the year that the boys showed the world that they were here to stay.

Their debut album, Pharmacy, was a massive hit when it dropped last Spring, tearing up the Billboard charts and giving us a handful of well-produced, infectious tracks that we’re still listening to on repeat.

The 50th Ivor Novello Awards also saw the charity record, Band Aid 20's "Do They Know It's Christmas?" secure the prize for the U.K.'s best-selling single. British rapper and songwriter Mike Skinner grabbed the best song (music and lyrics) award for his song "Dry Your Eyes".
