- Myke uses his Masters in Psychology to work with troubled teens and to strengthen families as part of his adventure business.
- Myke has been rated by the military as speaking 7 languages. He received pay for 3 languages, which is the maximum number they offer pay for if test scores are high enough. He has studied many others. He considers that he currently speaks decent Russian & Spanish and still offends waiters in French.
- New Orleans: Living with his wife, Ruth England and their family, where he works as a Producer for multiple TV shows for a few Networks and designs new products for his outdoor merchandise line, Hawke Brand. He also continues to run his extreme adventure company, Specops, Inc. (January 2013)
- Captain Hawke is a real world Green Beret Commander (U.S. Army Special Forces Officer). He is assigned to the United Nations.
- A 3rd Degree Black belt in Aikido who trained in skydiving, scuba diving, marksmanship as well as personal fitness, safety and security measures.
- Trained in Unconventional Warfare and Clandestine Communications as an SF Communications Sergeant in subjects from Morse code and cryptology to secret technologies and Satellites, etc.
- The Hawkes moved to New Orleans, LA thanks to a friend from the Special Forces Association there. (August 2010)
- As a Sergeant First Class, was trained and qualified as a Special Forces Medic, the equivalent of a bona fide jungle doctor capable of surgery, anesthesia, dental and veterinary work, as well as specializing in trauma and tropical medicine.
- CPT Hawke has served on Active Duty, in the Reserves and the National Guard. He has been in over 80 engagements defined as people shooting at him.
- Has been a US Government contractor since the early '90s in numerous conflicts from Africa, South America, Eastern Europe and most recently in Iraq. Has been awarded by the State Department as Small contractor of the year for his service as a Project Manager.
- Mykel continuously works with charities to teach outdoor skills to teens whose fathers were Special Operations, who were killed in combat. One example is his charity work is The Gold Star Teen Adventures. The GSTA works with children whose fathers were from any of the Special Operations Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force & Marines) and all their fathers were killed in combat. The GSTA focuses on teaching teens the types of things their fathers would if they were still alive. The kids learn skills like hunting, fishing, scuba diving, camping, hiking, sailing, et al. Mykel focuses on teaching survival and other outdoor skills, while many other veterans bring numerous other skills to the table. The GSTA is run by a husband and wife team and their family. The husband himself, Kent Solheim, is a Green Beret Combat Veteran Commander who lost a leg in battle and still serves on active duty. Myke considers it a duty to give back and an honor to serve these kids. 2013-2017.
- Trained as an Intelligence Operator with the Green Berets where he learned covert operations, "tradecraft", interrogation methods and studied multiple languages from Russian and Spanish to Turkish and Thai.

- Mykel Hawke works as a Challenge Designer & Judge for the International Warrior Competition conducted in Amman, Jordan every year. The challenges include extreme physical events such as running, swimming, rope climbing, rappelling and other military related activities combined with extreme shooting to include automatic rifles, pistols, shotguns and sniper rifles. Competitors come from around the world to include Europe, North America, Africa, Asia & The Middle East. 2016 & 2017.
- Mr. Hawke works as a Professor of Survival for American Survival Guide University, Miami Florida, 2017. His specialties are Wilderness Medicine, Communications, Intelligence, Self Defense & Family Readiness.
- Parted with his contracting company to focus on teaching courses to people at home.
- Specially selected by the Army to conduct unique training in the Ukraine in July 2008 before deploying for a mission to Korea in August. (July 2008)
