The subject of time travel and quantum mechanics is an interesting topic for sci-fi filmmakers to munch on, and Larry Wade Carrell’s 2023 film, The Quantum Devil, is no exception. It’s a sly wink at the fact that not every quest for knowledge yields Nobel-worthy results. Sometimes, it lands you in a parallel universe where the extraordinary is the new ordinary, and danger lurks around every corner. Meet our fearless foursome: Matthews, Luke, Ivanna, and Sophie, who’re on a wild goose chase to solve a riddle that’s more mind-boggling than a Picasso painting. As they go down the rabbit hole, they come across a dimension where the rules of life and death don’t matter, old secrets pop up, and who knows what else!
Spoilers Ahead
Plot Synopsis: What Happens in the Film?
The Quantum Devil begins with Luke Matthews (Tyler Tackett) stepping inside a taxi...

As seems customary in film now, Marvel often lead the way, even if it’s only in its influence on the film industry. When they started the ‘Marvel Universe’ many other studios and films tried to replicate this with their own characters (and continue to do so), with mostly unsuccessful attempts. More recently, they introduced a ‘multiverse’ to expand on this, and once again that became The buzzword in the industry with more films trying to emulate it. ‘Made in Malta’.
In less than three years, Julian Galea has made two indie features – Love to Paradise and Made In Malta – and has another in pre-production.
The Maltese-Australian filmmaker previously worked in construction management. However, after enjoying a two day filmmaking course when visiting New York back in 2009, he returned to Australia, sold everything and moved to NYC to study filmmaking in earnest. After that, he moved to La and on return to Sydney, established production company Galea Pictures, working on a variety of music videos, corporate content and shorts.
Galea tells If when he initially came back from The States he had several feature ideas he wanted to get made at the $1-3 million budget range. However, he found it difficult to get inroads with funding bodies and to get projects off the ground.
“The fact is, unless you have credits, it’s really tough for people to back you.

Farhan Akhtar started his acting career in 2008 [Rock On], followed it up with Luck By Chance in 2009, experimented with Karthik Calling Karthik [2010] and then hit a high with Zindagi Na Milegi Dobaara [2011]. Post that, he delivered a major hit with Bhaag Milkha Bhaag [2013].
Another interesting factor about Farhan and his Bollywood career is the fact that in his nine films that have released in last eight years, he has always seen a new leading lady opposite him. This is what makes Rock On 2 special since this time around, he is paired with a new leading lady, Shraddha Kapoor.
Rock On!! – Prachi Desai Luck By Chance – Konkona Sen Sharma Karthik Calling Karthik – Deepika Padukone Zindagi Na Milegi Dobaara – Ariadna Cabrol Bhaag Milkha Bhaag – Sonam Kapoor Shaadi Ke Side Effects – Vidya Balan Dil Dhadakne Do – Priyanka Chopra Wazir – Aditi Rao Hydari Rock On 2 – Shraddha Kapoor

Tagline: "The Darkest Nazi Secret... is about to be Revealed." It has been a year since there has been any news on the horror feature Panzer Chocolate. Since 2013, the film has released in Spain and a trailer has also been released for the film. The clip looks inspired by 3D elements as chains cut through the camera lens. As well, the film stars Melina Matthews (Mama), Geraldine Chaplin (Doctor Zhivago), Ariadna Cabrol (Perfume: The Story of a Murderer), Tony Corvillo (Sleep Tight) and Mark Schardan. Film fans can see the latest on this title below. In the story, three friends and part time archaeology students set off in search of missing art. Lost in World War II, these three colleagues are looking for stolen prints, taken by the NAZIs. Instead of finding the artwork, they find a hideous beast, Das Kommandant Frank. Their encounter with Frank shortens their lifespans, considerably.

It's that wonderful time of year again! Afm is open and bustling, and you know what that means, right? A throng of movie news is here for projects that will mostly never happen or never see the light of day! First up...
Here's the early word on Robert Figueras' first feature length horror film, Panzer Chocolate. Melina Matthews, Geraldine Chaplin, Ariadna Cabrol, Tony Corvillo, Mark Schardan, and Josep Segui star. Personally we're holding out for the eventual Panzer Pistachio.
Synopsis
In the dark forests of the Pyrenees, an archaeology Ph.D. student and three friends in search of pieces of art stolen during WWII discover a Nazi bunker called ‘Valhalla’. They soon realize that the place is guarded by a hideous beast named Das Kommandant Frank and find themselves running for their lives.

Cast: Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol, Ariadna Cabrol and Kalki Koechlin; Director: Zoya Akhtar; Rating: 4 out of 5.
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (Znmd) which hit the screens today is a refreshing experience for the viewers in more than one ways. The pictureseque locations of Spain are well exploited to unwind the narrative of the story. The fast paced movie has subtly adopted the locales of that country rather than being used to drag the story just for the heck of boasting of.
