Evil Under the Skin tells the story of mother and daughter Sophie (Helen Udy) and Roselee (Angela Banjaras) who are holidaying in a lakeside cabin in Oregon in order to get over their recent issues and to get some family bonding in. Well if you count swimming in a lake by day and getting sh*t-faced on shots at night!

Their break is interrupted not only by a creepy brother and sister duo who – if we weren’t told were brother and sister you’d think they were lovers. Yes, even idyllic Oregon has backwoods incest folks, right there on your TV screen(!) – but also by mum Sophie’s apparent mental breakdown. A severe mental breakdown… like, dangerous to be around breakdown.

Pretty much everybody loves the 80s, right? Horror fans are no different, and homages are as popular as ever when it comes to taking a greyhound back to the decade of spandex, hairspray, shoulder-pads and glam. Dustin Ferguson, director and creator of horror flicks and owner of cult-film status Old Skool Video rental store, has announced that Mark Patton, lauded as the first “male scream queen,” is continuing his return to acting as one of the stars of Ferguson's Amityville: Evil Never Dies.

The new film is a continuation of the “Amityville” horror series created by Ferguson and Mike Johnson. In their 2016 film "The Amityville Legacy,” a cursed antique toy monkey from the original DeFeo Amityville home, creates havoc and possesses a father after being gifted during an annual family reunion.

“Amityville: Evil Never Dies,” takes place one year after the events in "The Amityville Legacy." A young couple, played by Ben Gothier and Michelle Muir-Lewis, purchases the cursed toy monkey from the owner of a local antique shop, played by Patton.
