Produced by Utv Motion Pictures and Dharma Productions Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu is a sweet coming of age film written and directed by debutant Shakun Batra and it stars Imran Kahan (Rahul Kapoor) and Kareena Kapoor (Riana Braganza) in lead roles.

The movie is about the growing friendship between Riana and Rahul. She teaches him to be wild, he teaches her the value of friendship.

New Delhi, Feb 7: Karan Johar is returning this week to woo the box office with a romantic comedy which coincides with the Valentine's Day revelries. He has teamed up with the fresh pair of Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor to attract the audiences.

Directed by debutant Shakun Batra, the film's cast has Boman Irani, Ratna Pathak Shah and Ram Kapoor and it will be released on 1,200 screens worldwide. It is made at an approximate budget of Rs.25-30 crore.

In "Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na", Ratna had played Imran's mother, but her character in the new film is a complete contrast.

There are many films to look forward to in 2012 and one of the movies we are excited to see is Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu. The romantic comedy, directed by newcomer Shakun Batra, stars the new jodi of Kareena Kapoor and Imran Khan. Though some may think this is a bit of an odd pairing from what we have seen so far in the promos they have a fabulous chemistry.

Producer Karan Johar evidently agrees because recently he said the the Usp of Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu is the jodi of Imran and Kareena, “What’s unusual is what’s different and what’s different is what is working today. So, I think Imran and Kareena being unusual is the Usp of the film.”

The shooting of the film commenced on the 28th November 2010 in Las Vegas and was wrapped up recently on the 23rd November 2011 in Mumbai.

The last schedule of Ek Main aur Ekk Tu involved night shoots where the two actors of the film shot a song called ‘Aunty Ji’, composed by Amit Trivedi and choreographed by Bosco.
