Werewolf bikers, one might think they would be fairly common in movies, but apart from Hellhounds I can only think of a couple. There’s 1971’s Werewolves on Wheels, which has more to do with Satanists than lycanthropes and more recently High Moon, where a gang of old west werewolves find themselves in the present and saddle up on more modern iron horses. There’s also Bikers vs Werewolves being promised for later this year, but that’s it.
Hellhounds gets off to a start, or should I say starts, that are all over the place. We’re introduced to three separate sets of characters with no clue as to what the connection is. A woman chased down and abducted somewhere in the desert. A member of the Hellhounds biker gang tracked down by a bounty hunter,...

In 1883, Alferd Packer was convicted of the murder of a group of travellers in the San Juan Mountains nine years previously, a case which became famous because he had also eaten their flesh. A bastardised version of Native legends was to grow up around Packer, suggesting that his transgression had led to him being possessed by a dangerous spirit, the wendigo, which drove him to (temporary) madness. Though this creature really belongs to eastern peoples, it was often confused with the skinwalker, a similarly hungry spirit which could be invoked by interfering with funerary rites. Robert Conway's latest western, set in 1883 on the nearby ?Colorado Plateau, presents its own version of the skinwalker and echoes an underlying theme in the Packer story: that white men who choose to wander in dangerous terrain really ought to listen to the Native people if they want to stay alive.
That they haven't.

Writer-director Robert Conway’s partnership with Uncork’d Entertainment began with his horror film “The Encounter,” about a camping trip gone horribly wrong, and continued with “Krampus: The Reckoning,” about a little girl’s relationship with Krampus, the dark companion of St. Nicholas who punishes “bad children” at Christmastime in horrifying ways. Now, he’s working with Uncork’d again on the Krampus sequel entitled “Krampus Unleashed,” which signals the return of the yuletide monster after a group of fortune hunters mistakenly awaken him after years of being dormant. Just yesterday I told you about Sickle from writer-director Robert Conway. Not one to rest on his laurels, Conway already has a second film in post-production, Necro Wars. A zombie apocalypse flick with a twist: The hero is a newly zombified soldier forced to choose which side he will fight on.
"His name is John! Brought back to life by Dr. Bokur, Aka Dr. Boss Zombie, to lead his army of the undead to final victory!"
That's about the only info there is out there on the film starring Wes Martinez and William Lane. Well, that and the teaser trailer below. More info on Necro Wars when available.

You would expect that with a title like Sickle, the film would be about a sickle-wielding killer. "Sickle" is actually the name of the psycho violent policeman Kane Hodder plays, and that name spells a lot of trouble for Tiffany Shepis.

Slade Sickle - now that's a badass name. Makes you wonder how Vince McMahon didn't come up with it first.
Rena Riffel, who played a stripper in Showgirls, also appears here as a stripper, no doubt soon to be on the wrong end of a crazy cop's special brand of law enforcement.
