Rebecca Jane Bowers was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on Thanksgiving Day (November 26th), 1981 to Roger and Denise Bowers. She currently resides in Greenville, South Carolina with her husband, Harry Hill; daughter, Loriel; puppers, Violet and Tyrion; and a couple of parakeets. After over 2 decades of singing and acting on stage and 2 independent films, a hiatus from the performance arts ensued as she pursued other interests. In June 2011, she received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Midwestern University's Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. Dr. Bowers then went on to complete a residency in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. She has been teaching and practicing medicine in South Carolina since January 2015. She also enjoys reading, writing, gardening, and participating in the Society of Creative Anachronism (SCA).
