    • 2016 Berlinale Talent alumnus Liteo Pedregal is a Madrid-based director and screenwriter who likes to be considered "Euroafrican" since he was born in Ceuta, a Spanish city placed in Northern Africa.

      He has written and directed several professional short films, including Imago (Imago, 2004), broadcasted at Canal+, and La Hegira (The Hijra, 2011), broadcasted at BBC. His works collect more than twenty Spanish and international distinctions and awards, including a special jury mention at film festival Cinespana in Toulouse (France) and they have been screened in Germany, France, United Kingdom, USA, Mexico, Chile, Italy, and China, among other countries.

      His fifth and sixth short films, La quinta dimension (Lost in the fifth dimension, 2014) and Alimezher (Alimezher, 2020) respectively, were granted by the prestigious grant program of Comunidad de Madrid (Spain).
