Claudia Spinelli is Vice President of Franchise Animation Development for Nickelodeon and Executive in Charge of Production on SpongeBob SquarePants. What started as an After-School and Saturday Morning obsession became a career when she began working in Animation in New York as a production assistant, color stylist , and assistant animator on various commercials, opening titles, cartoons and short films. Coincidentally, some of these projects were for Nickelodeon.
Claudia joined the West Coast Animation team for Nickelodeon in 2000 where she has worked on a big variety of cartoons including: SpongeBob Squarepants, Harvey Beaks, Sanjay and Craig, Robot and Monster, Rabbids Invasion, Get Blake!, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Jimmy Neutron, The Fairly OddParents, Random! Cartoons, Making Fiends, and Planet Sheen. She also got to partner with the team that produced the Broadway show, SpongeBob SquarePants the Musical, which earned 12 Tony Award Nominations.
