Ilana Turner is an L.A. Stage Raw Playwriting award nominee for her award-winning debut play O Réjane. She received the Max K. Lerner Fellowship for her play Ollie & D, which was workshopped at Inkwell Theater. Play Slur received staged readings in the 2019 Blossoming Festival, and a reading at Circle X Theatre Co. Monologue "Sugar Coat It" was published in LGBTQ Comedic Monologues That Are Actually Funny (Applause Books). She served as Dramaturge for Circle X Theatre's production of punkplay. She holds a B.A. in theater and dance from Hampshire College. Graduate, i.O. West and former member of Bobby Hot Stuff, anchor of weekly Friday night improv shows. Member of SAG, AEA, Dramatists Guild, and the Playwrights Center. She loves punk rock and Shostakovich.
