Hellena Borgys
Hellena Borgys is the character created by artist Uátila Coutinho. Besides being a professional ballet dancer, he is a choreographer, scenic director, artistic make-up artist and fine artist. As a scenic director, Uátila directed the Miss Brasil Gay pageant in 2021. As a choreographer, he choreographed and directed music videos and shows. As a dancer he has experience with TV, musicals and has danced with the biggest dance companies in the country, performing all over Brazil and in more than 40 countries. He has been a part of the prestigious dance companies São Paulo Cia de Dança, Grupo Corpo, Déborah Colker, and integrates the corps de ballet of the city of São Paulo, where he works with national and international choreographers. He has been a soloist in many companies and received raving reviews from the "New York Times" for a performance with Grupo Corpo. Hellena was created to give life to the paintings that the artist made since childhood. It is inspired by cartoons, drawings and a playful universe. As a drag performer, he participated in 2019 in the show "Jardim Oriental do Primeiros Desejos" presented at the Tomie Othake Museum, in São Paulo, inspired by the works of the artist Murakami, and created by the renowned choreographer Ismael Ivo. He also performs in concert halls and theaters throughout Brazil. Hellena is a contestant in Amazon Prime Video's first season of "Queens on the run".
