Born in 1979, British writer-director Tobias Tobbell started out writing plays and makings short films as a teenager. He was a prolific contributor to his university's drama society, writing and directing a dozen plays, two of which were performed at Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Tobias' debut feature film, 'Confine', stars Alfie Allen and Daisy Lowe. Following a Raindance premiere, where it was nominated for Best Feature, the film was released in the US (Screen Media Films) and the UK (Koch Media).
Tobbell also produced international festival hit 'The Drummond Will', a black comedy which picked up 8 Best Feature awards. This was also released in North America and UK.
He resides in Greater London and runs Two Bells Productions, producing short films to play at international festivals, and is developing features as well as television pilots.
