In its initial opening weekend, "Creed III" genuinely knocked out box office expectations (and records), its competition, and prior "Rocky" first weekends all in one punch. This third franchise entry sees Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan) confronted by his past in the form of childhood-friend-turned-enemy Damian "Dame" Anderson (Jonathan Majors). Following an early situation that left Dame locked up while Adonis got away, Dame reemerges after almost two decades' incarceration with dreams of restoring his once-promising early boxing career. It's yet another memorable performance from the electric Majors in bringing Dame to life, alongside Michael B. Jordan expanding the "Creed" universe as both filmmaker and star.
While "Creed III" certainly boasts great performances and stunningly executed fights, one of its greatest elements is the film's attention to detail, showcasing the filmmakers' love for and knowledge of the sport of boxing. Woven into Dame's arc, character, style, and fighting habits are...

The WWE roster is full of talented people who can do more than just wrestle, talk and act on sports entertainment shows. They are skilled performers who can do other things like we have seen so many others in the past.
The Rock is a bigger star as an actor then he was as a wrestler. Now he’s the biggest box office attraction in the world. He may only have a few wrestling matches left in his career (perhaps just one more), yet he’s a part of the WWE family and the company loves to remind us of his success. They’re proud. They should be.
Batista wasn’t somebody that most of us thought would be a big time actor, but after his breakout role in Guardians of the Galaxy he landed a role in the new James Bond film Spectre as well, so he...

The annual fan-made video celebrating the class of 2011 Future Endeavoured (i.e. those in the WWE who have left the company in the past year) has been released on Youtube. This year’s list includes 16 wrestlers and personalities who were let go this past year and including the huge surprises of David Hart Smith and Chris Masters being let go when many felt like they could have been SuperStars for years. Finlay, Chavo Guerrero and John Morrison obviously will also be missed having been great servants for the company over the past decade.
mangler989 uploaded the video to Youtube and gave us the following info on the selection process;
Here is the class of 2011 Future Endeavors from the WWE. This list includes all TV personalities. The Rule: If you were on TV and are no longer working for the WWE, then you make the video. It doesn’t matter if they were terminated,...

In keeping with the recent trend of allowing the WWE Universe choose the names of the shows that will appear on the WWE Network in 2012, WWE have more recently asked fans to choose a name for an interactive live studio show. The show will include interviews, phone-ins, guest stars including superstars and Raw/Smackdown!/PPV analysis which is something that only happens on WWE.com at the minute during and after a PPV.
It seems as though WWE is getting fully behind this social networking/interactive era as WWE.com has recently started posting articles containing tweets by fans from the previous nights show. This new show on the WWE Network will most probably be similar “Byte This” which was hosted by Todd Grisham during 2004-06 where fans could phone in and talk about WWE and sometimes to superstars.
The choices for the name of this show are:

The Big News: Christian gets the better off Randy Orton in tag team action whilst Sheamus continues to antagonise Mark Henry.
Show began with a video recap of Mark Henry’s recent destruction before changing tone to highlight Sheamus standing up to him from last week. The question asked was whether or not Henry had finally met his match.
Match: Sheamus defeated Khali via pinfall
Before the match it was confirmed by the announcers that Sheamus will meet Mark Henry at Summerslam. As such this clash with the 7ft plus Indian was very much designed to put the Dubliner over as a big threat to Mark Henry’s dominance.
It was actually a surprisingly decent affair considering just how clumsy and incompetent Khali is inside the squared circle. Khali got on top early with various clotheslines and big slaps before Sheamus powered back by trapping his opponent in the ropes...

Despite being killed off as a series when Chairman Vince McMahon announced that WWE would drop the Survivor Series name and rebrand the event in last February, November saw the explosive return of the PPV spectacular, and that show is now available to buy on DVD and Blu-ray.
With a card boasting the collected talents of Kane, Randy Orton, Edge, Rey Mysterio, Big Show and Alberto Del Rio, the star quality is certainly there, but the question is: how does an event cope with being so cruelly undermined by the man pulling the power strings?
This year’s event was undoubtedly headlined, both in billing and in intrigue by the face-off between Randy Orton and former Nexus leader, and one of few resident Brits on the WWE rosta, Wade Barrett, with the added interest of the outcome supposedly deciding John Cena’s fate as a WWE employee.
