Kokoro Araki

Kokoro Araki is a Japanese film/stage actor. Born in Osaka, Japan, he lived between Hawaii and Osaka during his childhood. During his school years he has lived abroad in the mainland US (Los Angeles/Las Vegas), Italy, and France.
At the age of 18, he became interested in theater and studied theater at A-Team academy, a performing arts school by a major Japanese entertainment production company, from 2015 to 2019.
In 2017, he made his film debut in "Sekigahara" (2017), a historical drama about the Sengoku period in Japan. Although he has a small supporting role, he plays in the biggest battle/explosion scene in the film. In 2017, he appeared in a show at a popular Japanese theme park as a cast member (a role of devil). Also in 2017, he played 2 gang members in the movie "HiGH&LOW THE MOVIE 2 END OF SKY" (2017) challenging himself to perform in a large group action scene.
In the same year, he expanded his activities by appearing in TV commercials and auditioning for Hollywood movies.
From 2018 onward, he began appearing in TV dramas and also started modeling; in 2020, he was selected for an advertisement for Osaka Metro, the main transportation system in the metropolis of Osaka, where he was featured on a poster and attracted a lot of attention.
In 2023, he will star as Kokoro in the short film "Haribote" (2023). "Haribote" (2023) was nominated for Best Picture at the Japanese TikTok Film Festival, and his performance was highly acclaimed.
Then, in 2023, he began his activities outside of Japan in earnest, appearing in a supporting role in the Chinese film "Across the Furious Sea" (2023).
In 2024, he played the role of Usayama in the film "Strangers" (2024) in a supporting role, and he played out the role of a refugee on a cosmic scale.
