Mary Lou began her show business career at age 6 as a country music
entertainer, performing throughout Southern California, Texas and
Tennessee, winning local, state, regional, national and world
championship titles.
At age 8, Mary Lou chose to pursue a career in television and film. Her hard work and talent was rewarded in 2004 with a recurring role on Nickelodeon's teen comedy, Unfabulous (2004). She reprised her role in the series' second and third (final) seasons.
In 2010, Mary Lou took a 4-year hiatus from her pursuit of her acting career, to attend Princeton University. She graduated in 2014 with a degree in Art History and Theater.
At Princeton, Mary Lou was also member of the 120-year-old Triangle Club, the oldest touring collegiate original musical comedy organization in the nation, and the co-ed a cappella group The Roaring 20.
She now lives and works in Los Angeles.
