Kalin Dinev

Kalin Dinev was born in Sofia, Bulgaria. When he was young he attended the MONTFIZ acting school where for 3 years he studied acting. He graduated with the play: "The Government Inspector" by Nikolai Gogol, directed by Slav Boychev. Upon graduating Kalin Dinev started attending acting classes with the amazing Bulgarian actor Velizar Binev. It's been 3 years since Kalin started working with Mr. Binev and during that time he has managed to portray numerous characters in Short Films, Feature Films and TV series. Some of his Feature film performances are Sasha (Picasso Affaire, dir. Ian Ianev), Basil (La belle dame sans merci, dir. Nikolay Bogomilov) and the role of The Scribe in M. J. Bassett's Red Sonja (2024). In those and many other performances Kalin shows his wide acting range and also his language skills. Speaking in both Russian and English in "Picasso Affaire" and French in "La belle dame sans merci". He is fluent in Bulgarian, English and French also speaks Russian and conversational Spanish. He is an acting chameleon, immersing himself in every character that he plays. Whenever he prepares for a role in a foreign language his accent is spot on regardless if he has to speak it natively or with a foreign accent. He is also an athlete with numerous medals in Kung Fu from Republican Championships in his home country of Bulgaria.
