Uruk is an Iraqi, Kurdish and Australian actress. She is the daughter of Iraqi Australian director and actor Bassem Qahar, the niece of Iraqi actor Dhia Qahar and the step daughter of Egyptian actress Shams Al Sharkawy.
She made her TV debut in the Iraqi series New Baghdad and her cinematic debut in the Egyptian film Sales Men.
