The Friendship Game is a Canadian horror movie directed by Scooter Corkle, starring Peyton List, Brendan Meyer and Jennifer Copping.
A teen and YA horror flick that could have been better. A promising premise, a disappointing production.
Premise
A group of friends come across a strange artifact that will put their friendship at risk. All the while, a hacker watches them with her spyware.
Movie Review
Do you know when a movie is not particularly well elaborated and the story is a bit disappointing? ‘The Friendship Game’ is one such example. Following a rather flat start, and despite it, you think to yourself, “oh, I will give it a chance.” Because the premise seems promising, and we expect it to tell us a story with multiple narratives, and think, “it might actually be worth the while.”
Unfortunately, that is not the case, but, hey, we did give it a chance.

"He's not robbing banks, he's putting on a show." Lionsgate has revealed the official trailer for an action thriller titled Detective Knight: Redemption, from filmmaker Edward Drake. This is actually the second movie a trilogy (uh oh) all from the same director, all featuring Willis as a Detective. I keep hoping all these bad Bruce Willis movies are done, considering his health, but nope there's always more. Redemption is the second one after Detective Knight: Rogue, released last month, and will lead right into Detective Knight: Independence scheduled to open in January. In custody in New York, Knight finds himself in the middle of a jailbreak led by "The Christmas Bomber". With the promised return of his badge in exchange for taking out the terrorists, Knight decides to help in the only way he knows how. Bruce Willis stars with Lochlyn Munro, Corey Large, Miranda Edwards, Beau Mirchoff, and Paul Johansson.

Production on TNT’s “Snowpiercer” has been stopped due to safety concerns involving extremely high temperatures on set (via Deadline). The series was filming in British Columbia, where temperatures frequently reached the mid-90s. Multiple cast and crew members experienced cases of heat exhaustion, and 14 people were reportedly taken to the local hospital for treatment. Soon after, producers made the decision to suspend filming until temperatures became more manageable.
“Out of an abundance of caution, production of ‘Snowpiercer’ wrapped early yesterday and was suspended for today due to extreme heat on location,” said a spokesperson for Tomorrow Studios, which produces the show. “The health and well-being of show cast and crew remains top priority.”
Many were quick to point out the irony of a show about people affected by extreme climate change being shut down over extreme climate change. “Snowpiercer” takes place in a future Ice Age, and the heavy...

This Snowpiercer review contains spoilers.
Snowpiercer Season 2 Episode 2
A show like Snowpiercer seems tailor-made for the winter. After all, it’s cold outside, so you might as well stay in. Sure, you’re probably still quarantined with your household after a long year, but at least you’re not stuck on a train. At least you’re not stuck on a train rattling around a frozen death world eating canned meat while waiting to become fertilizer (or canned meat yourself). As bad as things might be out here, at least it’s not Snowpiercer-bad these days; there are signs of hope everywhere, with vaccines in our world, and the recurring snowflakes seen every time the train is shown from outside.
Of course, in order to reclaim the world, Snowpiercer and the travelers along for the ride will have to survive Big Alice’s return, their own internal strife, and the machinations of the devious Mr.

We’ll be seeing more of Ricardo Diaz on Arrow this season. Kirk Adevedo, who recurred last season as the drug kingpin and crime lord also known as Dragon, has been promoted to series regular for Season 7. It premieres October 15 on the CW.
A thorn in the side of Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) in S6, Diaz saw Team Arrow launch an attack on him during the season finale in May, only to escape. FBI agent Samandra Watson vows to haul him in, however.
The character has a publishing history with roots that date back more than 40 years. In 1975, DC Comics started publishing a series called Richard Dragon, Kung Fu Fighter, which featured a martial arts master who grew up as a thief but changed his ways. The series lasted a mere 18 issues. Jump forward to 2013, and a new fighter calling himself Dragon was introduced; he eventually was revealed to be...

Not only is Arrow‘s Ricardo Diaz simply down and not out, he may be back bigger than ever.
TVLine has confirmed that Kirk Acevedo, who in Season 6 recurred as Oliver Queen’s adversary, has been promoted to series regular for Season 7 (which airs on a new night, Mondays at 8/7c, starting Oct. 15).
The upgrade was first noted by Green Arrow TV.
After tormenting Oliver and his loved ones for much of Season 6, Diaz was nearly nabbed during a season-ending skirmish, but Laurel/Black Siren’s well-intended attempt to offer an assist instead (ugh) allowed the crime boss to slip away.

No doubt about it, Arrow has had some memorable big bads to call its own during the previous six seasons. No matter which you prefer, Malcolm Merlyn, Deathstroke, Ra’s al Ghul, Damien Darhk, Prometheus and Ricardo Diaz each brought something unique to the table. But as we head into season 7, we find ourselves in a different situation, for “The Dragon” is still in the wind.
This time, however, Diaz has other – and, perhaps, more loyal – folks backing him up in the form of the Longbow Hunters. Having previously been name-dropped at the tail end of season 6, these formidable adversaries have been confirmed to appear in the coming year.
As it turns out, the live action version of the group will be rounded out by Holly Elissa as Red Dart, Michael Johnson as Kodiak and Miranda Edwards as Silencer. Call me crazy, but those three just sound like people you...

While Oliver is facing the music on the inside, his team will be put in some disastrous situations on the outside. There's a no-vigilante rule in Star City, meaning Team Arrow is essentially defunct.
But that won't stop the Longbow Hunters who have been sent on a mission by Diaz to exact revenge on everyone close to Oliver.
Who will be playing the Longbow Hunters, you ask?
First up is Red Dart, who will be played by Holly Elissa. She is described as "a ruthless and precise killer."

Having previously been name-dropped at the tail end of season 6, these formidable adversaries have now been confirmed to appear in the coming year.
As it turns out, the live action version of the group will be rounded out by Holly Elissa as Red Dart, Michael Johnson as Kodiak and Miranda Edwards as Silencer. Call me crazy, but those three just sound like people...

The hunt for Arrow’s Longbow Hunters is over. At the CW series’ San Diego Comic-Con panel on Saturday, it was announced that three actors had been cast as the most fearsome of the DC villains who, during Season 7, will be exacting revenge on Oliver’s team on behalf of Ricardo Diaz. (You’ll recall that their toppling of his criminal empire in the Season 6 finale left him with a major axe to grind.) So, who’s playing the recurring roles?

Doesn’t sound like Season 7 will be quite so lucky for the titular hero of The CW’s “Arrow.”
In addition to facing off against old foes, the newly imprisoned Green Arrow/Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) will also be forced to contend with The Longbow Hunters, described as “a legendary group of assassins recruited by Ricardo Diaz (Kirk Acevedo) to enact his revenge on Oliver and the team after they took down his burgeoning criminal empire in Season 6.
The trio of new baddies include Red Dart (pictured), who’ll be played by “Whistler” alum Holly Elissa and is described as “a ruthless and precise killer”; Kodiak (Michael Jonsson of “Van Helsing”), a “beast of a man with brute force”; and Silencer (played by Miranda Edwards of “The Magicians” and “Orphan Black”), who’s “a master of stealth.”
