Kimberly Cash
- Actress
Kim Cash (born Kimberly Botbyl) was raised in northern New Jersey and
had dreams of becoming a bi-coastal actress her entire life. She took
her first acting class at the University of Washington, Seattle, and
later graduated from York College of PA, Magna Cum Laude, with majors
in Public Relations and Mass Communications and minors in Advertising,
Speech Communications, Marketing and Philosophy. On her first audition
ever, at age 20, Kimberly booked the lead role for the play "Top Girls"
and continued to pursue parts in the locally produced "Vagina
Monologues" and "The Importance of Being Earnest." After graduation,
she briefly worked in the Marketing Department for Philadelphia's
Drexel University, but secretly spent her lunch hours checking online
for upcoming auditions. Once again booking her first ever movie
audition, Kimberly landed a small role in the independent feature, "The
Adventures of Young Van Helsing," and soon thereafter, moved to New
York City to pursue Acting. After many student films, several small
stage showcases, brief spots on shows like "Law & Order" and another
lead in a low-budget short, "Avoiding Puberty", Kimberly was pulled
from the 'background' on three studio productions in a row and given
'Featured' spots, which planted the idea of moving to Los Angeles in
her 24-year-old mind. In September of 2006, Kimberly finally landed in
Hollywood, and, as expected, she again nailed her first audition in
L.A. and dove head-first into short films, webisodes, student films,
and stage performances. She has been featured on TV shows like
"Arrested Development", in several national commercials, print ads and
online, and in October of 2012, was even published in Vogue-Italia.
