Jaerin Washington

Jaerin Washington was born in Los Angeles, California on May 19, 1978. He has four sisters and five brothers. He is the middle child on either side . . . which eventually would mold him to break out of that "middle child's syndrome. While living in Altadena, California with his mother and one of his older brothers, he attended several Pasadena area schools. He participated in little league baseball, pop warner football and eventually found his way to the track. He began running track at the age of 12, just one year after retiring from little league baseball! He ran for his junior high school one year, transferred schools and did not return to the track for another three years. During his 3-year hiatus from track, Jaerin developed a sense of humor and a knack for finding laughs wherever he could get them, Thus making him the typical "class clown" or "a funny guy at school." When Jaerin returned to track, he had matured into a well rounded "local" comedienne. During this time, Jaerin began living with his grandmother whom he greatly admired for her being a consistent source of love and encouragement. This helped him to overcome certain insecurities he had carried with him. This provided him the stable environment he needed to develop into the amusing person he was to become and also gave him the confidence to play varsity football.

Jaerin stood out amongst his peers not only for his friendly and hilarious nature, but also because of his talent as an athlete. Jaerin began to seek to entertain, not only as an athlete and not necessarily a comedienne, but he knew he wanted to be an entertainer. He finished high school and continued his formal education by going to college on a track & field scholarship. He later returned to Pasadena, California where he continued to run track and eventually weaned himself to doing what he wanted to do . . . entertain. He currently resides in Inglewood, California and can now be seen in various Television shows and movies.
