His family has staretd Satyen Kappu Film Productions, as popularly known as Satyen Kappu Films. It was established in 1994. The media house has been working closely with Central Government Ministries & Departments, and has many assignments to its credit aired on Doordarshan, All India Radio including other private channels. The documentary titled The Mystic Land of Apatanis, got nominated for the best documentary by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs in the year 2004.Serials on Doordarshan titled Daak Bangle Main Chipa Bhoot, Apna Ghar, Sumail Sambandh, Sati Savitri, Ameeran, The Resplendent Tribes and Ek Faisla, were amongst best ranked assignments with highest TRPs, aired on prime time.The legacy of the production house is after Shri Satyen Kappu, a veteran artist from the Bollywood film industry.Shri Satyen Kappu hailed from Panipat and started his career as a stage actor in 1952 with the Indian People's Theatre Association (IPTA) in Mumbai. His career spanned from the early 1960s to the early 2000s with over 270 films to his credit. His work, in many Amitabh Bachchan blockbuster hits are noteworthy.He entertained the masses for almost six decades of his life, and always believed to never behold oneself in fear of failure but forge fearlessly with complete conviction and responsibility. He often said, only if we translate our thoughts into actions will we emerge as path breakers in life. Our competition should not be with others but with ourselves.Following his vision we are critical of ourselves and always in service with humility. The production house is succeeded by his daughters Uma Bhardwaj, Tripti Kappu and grandson Abhishek Bhardwaj. We all work with strong conviction and determination to deliver and excel, bearing in mind his approach. Always focus, plan and execute jobs with precision and hard work, there is no short cut to success and we should learn to exert ourselves to achieve excellence.
