Sheyene Gerardi (born April 13) is a Venezuelan actress, model, and television host. Sheyene's professional career is a unique blend of Hollywood, philanthropy and space exploration. She got her start in entertainment industry as a hobby in the early 2000s in parallel with her university medical studies. Around that time, a prominent TV producer discovered Sheyene leading to starring roles in highly rated prime time soap operas aired internationally. Sheyene is known for her work in more than 30 countries, her entertainment productions have been translated and dubbed into more than 15 languages. Her mother and father were killed in an automobile accident, leaving Sheyene with no living relatives. A year after her parents passed, she received a diagnosis of advanced lymphoma stage IV, a very rare type of cancer with only 60 cases reported worldwide with no survivors. The cancer spread throughout 85% of her body and doctors gave her three months to live. She underwent three years of chemotherapy in Florida, she suffered no hair loss. After relocating to the United States, Sheyene made a career leap from the silver screen to the stars, becoming NASA's Lead of Robotics Outreach. Later that same year, she co-founded the NASA's Planetary Landing Team. She was granted the status of an individual with exceptional ability in the national interest In the United States. She has won the numerous awards for her work and charitable efforts. She advocates for responsible development and equitable distribution of the technology's benefits through her foundation. Sheyene herself leads lobbying and public relation efforts for the organization.
