Joseph Mesiano was raised in Toronto, Canada, and one of two sons to European immigrants.
He began his theatrical career while studying in Montreal, Canada and was invited to the 61st Venice International Film Festival for his work in Canada's Official Selection, Stryker. This compelled him to continue his studies in New York City, where he performed off Broadway, and in various roles on daytime and nighttime television. Speaking several languages he can also be seen in foreign language films.
He continues to work between coasts and internationally.
