Verna Ng, a 26-year-old artiste, humbly wears multiple hats as an actress, host, and vocalist who is fluent in English, Chinese, and Thai.
Her journey into the world of performing arts began modestly, starting ballet lessons at the age of 7 and discovering her love for singing at 8. Through years of dedicated practice and nurturing her abilities, Verna laid the groundwork for her future endeavors.
After experiencing the education system and exploring many career paths, Verna made the humble decision to pursue her dreams on screen as a film and drama actress in 2023. Motivated by a simple belief that life is too short to ignore one's passions, she embarked on this journey with quiet determination.
Since then, Verna has had the privilege to be part of various productions on Mediacorp Channel 8, including "My Star Bride Telemovie," "Heartland Hero," and "I Do, Do I," often playing smaller supporting roles. Recently, Verna was honored to portray Maryanne Kng, the Homewrecker "Karen" in Channel 5's long-form drama, "Sunny Side Up," cherishing the chance to showcase her versatility as an actress. Verna has also had the privilege to be in films directed by award winning director Shihyun Wang. In addition to her film and drama work, Verna has also had the pleasure of collaborating with esteemed brands such as Scoot, Disney, and KDK fan, through social media commercials.
