Chamoun is a co-founder and Head Of Development at Factual Fiction, a production company based in Leeds.
He was born in Beirut during the civil war and grew up watching films: Hollywood, Bollywood, Turkish and Arabic. When he was 10 his family fled to Sweden where he caught up with the films he had missed: European, Scandinavian, independent and art-house. He moved to London to study directing at the UK's National Film & Television School.
