Alex Vega(XVI)
- Actor
Born in Barcelona. He lived all his childhood in Cerdanyola Del Vallès, with his parents, Anna Vega and Paquito Sánchez. Children, almost all of them, of Andalusians. On her mother's side, Merçè Badia, originally from l'Hospitalet de Llobregat, married Pepito Vega, born in Linares, Jaén. They settled in Cornellà de Llobregat. As for his paternal grandparents, Francisco Sanchez (El Bibi) and Ramona Delgado, they were farm laborers in Mollina, Malaga, until they opened a small business in Ciutat Meridiana (Barcelona) and later moving to Cerdanyola. Since he was a child, Alex always had the art clearly latent. When he was 5 years old, one of the first moments that marked a before and after in his life was the discovery of Lina Morgan by the hand of his grandmother Merçè, in the VHS of the play "Celeste.... No Es Un Color", as she has acknowledged on several occasions. That was one of the most crucial turning points in her life, because when she saw how Lina laughed at her own jokes and enjoyed herself in front of the audience, breaking the fourth wall, something inside her woke up. And he felt that he had come to this world to make others enjoy it. Realizing that that 5 year old boy had discovered his true vocation. To never let go of the happiness and love that his inner child gave off. At the age of 7 his parents enrolled him in theater at "L'Ateneu" in Cerdanyola. Where he took his first steps in the world of acting. Always combining his inexhaustible passion for music. Family and friends often remember that Alex sang at all hours, always being the center of attention. Although there was a clear turning point when he was chosen as the protagonist for the end of the school year show where he performed the theme of Aquarius, from the musical HAIR. It was a moment that is still remembered more than 20 years later at gatherings of family and friends.
