Her first husband, Capt. Arvind Singh Bagga, was working as a pilot with Alliance Air. He died in 2000 when his flight, Alliance Air Flight 7412, collided with a building at Patna, India.
She studied Law and worked as an air hostess.
Also hosted Mirchi Top 10 in 2005.
First major hit was Chak De India 2007 where she attained fame.
