Daniel Crossley was born and brought up in Southport. He started his acting career in West End musicals, creating roles in the original London casts of Chicago and Fosse among others. Theatre credits include: Bert in the National Tour of Mary Poppins, Cornelius Hackl in Hello Dolly at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre, Cosmo Brown in Singin' in the Rain at Chichester Festival Theatre, The Palace Theatre, and Theatre du Chatelet in Paris, Oscar Lindquist in Sweet Charity at Manchester Royal Exchange for which he received an MTA award for Best Supporting Actor, Touchstone in As You Like it at Shakespeare's Globe, and Hall in The Twilight Zone in The Almeida West End Season. TV and film credits include: Chernobyl (HBO), Funny Girl (SKY), Salisbury Poisonings (BBC), Time (BBC), and Senna (Netflix).
