Dylan Alexander Bruce grew up in Central Maine inspired by local legend Stephen King. He spent his childhood making films with friends at Foxcroft Academy and ran a marketing agency in the area for several years, creating commercials, films, games, and even getting politicians elected. In 2020, he launched the Blunt Digital Media Collective in Florida to create PC game NUN. In 2023, he began working with the Atavistic team on their upcoming game series Seers of Ages Past. Using Unreal Engine, he creates video game cinematics, commercials, and makes waves in virtual filmmaking.
With a passion for cinema and a love for the classics, Dylan strives to push boundaries while staying true to the cinematic experience. His animated short film, Talisman, stars Academy Award and 3-time Golden Globe Nominee Eric Roberts and has been featured at Film Festivals around the world where it was awarded Best Animation, Best Director, Best Cinematography and nominated for the George Perez Animated Project Award. The film is a blend of Conan and Apocalypse Now in the style of Lord of the Rings meets Star Wars. By using virtual production, 3D technology, and the Unreal Engine, he blurs the lines between the real world and the digital one.
