Jonathan Nail originally hails from the cornfields of Illinois and
holds a B.F.A. in Acting from the Professional Actors Studio at the
University of Illinois. During the summer of 1993 he studied under
Ben Kingsley at the prestigious British American Drama Academy (BADA) in
Oxford, England. Although he is a classically trained actor, his love
for musical theatre keeps him singing on stage with the likes of
Jason Alexander, John Rubinstein and Robert Morse at the Interact Theatre Co. in North
Hollywood.
Jonathan made his television debut on the Christmas Trees episode of "Malcolm in the Middle". In July of 2006 he created the role of Glenn Webb in the World Premiere of Zsa Zsa Gershick's "Bluebonnet Court" at the Hudson Mainstage Theatre in Hollywood.
Jonathan is also an avid homebrewer. He won a Gold Medal (English Ale category) in 1997 at the America's Finest City Homebrew Competition in San Diego, CA. Always tinkering with his recipes he plans on opening a brewpub of his very own someday. He is also a frequent blogger, but rarely blogs about beer.
