David Madden(II)
David Madden has been around for many years in the Jamaican music
business - composing, arranging, touring, singing, and playing the
trumpet.
Look on the CD's and LP's of Jamaican stars... Bob Marley & the Wailers, Ernie Ranglin, Freddy McGregor, Jimmy Cliff, Burning Spears, Bob Andy and Peter Tosh, Beres Hammond, Ziggy Marley, Dawn Penn's 'No, No, No', Dennis Brown, Sean Paul... just to name a few... and his name appears.
He began playing the trumpet at Alpha Boys school. By age 17, he went on to Jamaica Military Band, then on to the Jamaican entertainment pop scene.
David's trumpet and musical skill has truly helped to create some of the most memorable ska, rock steady, reggae and dance hall music in Jamaica's history. In addition to playing with Jamaica's top artists, David also released seven solo albums.
