- Is a lifelong fan of all things Batman. As "Nashville Batman", he makes appearances at Children's Hospitals, the Make-A-Wish Foundation and other charitable events and organizations.

- His mother-in-law, Karren Dille, a talented actress, singer and dancer, appeared as Rizzo in "Grease" on Broadway and in the national touring company. In addition to her one-woman Cabaret shows at NYC's famed nightclub, Don't Tell Mama, she also appeared in the films 1941 (1979) (directed by Steven Spielberg), Pass the Ammo (1987) and The Hellstrom Chronicle (1971).
- He arranged an acoustic waltz version of the rock anthem, "Free Bird", with the ACM Award-winning country duo, Joey+Rory, which appeared on their debut CD. For two years, he played guitar for Joey Feek. He has held publishing deals with Identical Entertainment, The Heard Music Group and Rescued Music.
- His first job ever was as an on-air disc jockey at his hometown radio station, WBTH in Williamson, WV. It was his experience at WBTH that led him to choose Broadcasting as his major at Marshall University.
- As a Singer/Songwriter, he has released three CD's of original songs: "Story Book", "Winnebago" and his most recent..."Hourglass".
- Is a huge fan of the rock band KISS.
- He has been a songwriter on two Top-10 singles and his song "Greasy John Deere Cap" (from the Tim Hicks CD, "Throw Down"), was certified GOLD in August 2017.
- His father-in-law, Vincent DeDario, served as an Associate Director with ABC Sports in NYC for more than 40 years. Over the course of his career, Mr. DeDario received 15 Emmy Awards and in 2014 he was presented with the Franklin Schaffner Achievement Award, the highest honor the DGA can bestow upon an Associate Director.
