He was a Finnish schlager singer.

Recorded a Finnish version from Paulina Rubio's hit "Tequse Tanto". In Finnish it is called "En pyydä paljon" (I don't ask much"). He also recorded Lee Marvin's hit "Wand'ring Star" in Finnish in 2004. In Finnish it is called "Toiset on luotuja kulkemaan". It was also recorded in Finnish before him, by Ossi Ahlapuro

In fall 2005 he released a single called "Paalupaikka" (translated: Pole Position).

In fall 2005 he released CD "Paalupaikka" and made a concert tour to celebrate his 60th birthday.

Was a honorary member of The Official Elvis Presley Fan Club of Finland.

Has sold approx. 700,000 records in Finland.
