Suman Mallick's debut novel The Black-Marketer's Daughter was a finalist for the Disquiet Open Borders Book Prize. His other work may be found on The Bombay Review, The Gravity Of The Thing, Cleaver Magazine, Flash Boulevard, and Propeller Magazine.
Previously, Suman served as the Assistant Managing Editor of Under the Gum Tree, a quarterly literary magazine. He received his Master of Fine Arts from Portland State University, where he also taught English and Creative Writing.
Suman makes his home in Texas.
