India Bailey is an Australian actress and videographer. In 2022 she made her television debut as a guest star in the ABC TV Series 'Turn Up The Volume'. India has studied at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) and has completed Certificate III in Acting (Screen) at the Australian College of Dramatic Arts (ACDA)
India was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, the youngest child of Chita and Oliver Pacheco. Her mother, Chita, is English and Dutch, and her father, Oliver, is Filipino and Spanish. She has an older brother, Felix (stage name CHECKO) who is an artist and an audio engineer for fellow artists. She started in the industry gaining experience in TV commercials and modelling in Kidz Fashion Week. At 15 years old she was interviewed for Terri Talks Kidz in the Biz podcast where she talked about her start in acting and her passion for protecting the environment which she shares on her YouTube channel. Featuring in short films, ACDA's 'Lock & Key' (2022) and St. Mary's College 'Arborescent' (2022). In 2022 she landed a guest star role in ABC TV Series Turn Up The Volume. While her character was only supposed to be on the show for one episode, the directors loved her performance as Claudia and "had to get her back". Her character was then written back into the script and featured in a second episode. Her first lead role came in 2024 for a VCA short film graduate project 'Shrimp' directed by Rena Li and shortly after filmed short film 'Laterz' as the lead actress directed by Chelsea Ingram. She signed with Jackie O Talent Agency in 2023.
