Tymon Tymanski is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and composer. He began his musical education at the age of eight with the guitar. In primary school, he was the lead singer of his first band, The Howling Dogs. He studied English Philology at the University of Gdansk but left in 1989 to focus on music and literary activities. Tymanski is known for his work in several bands. He was the founder and leader of "Milosc" (1988), a free jazz band that achieved great success and is considered one of the best Polish jazz bands of the 90s. He also founded "Kury" (1992), which released the album "P.O.L.O.V.I.R.U.S.", a commentary on Polish popular music of the time that received numerous awards. In 2002, he formed "Tymon & The Transistors" which debuted with music written for the movie Wesele (2004).
